WHY WAIT Workout Series #4

Tip of the Day Be careful not to overdo it when it comes to how much you eat before exercise. The general guideline:

  • Large meals. Eat these at least three to four hours before exercising.
  • Small meals. Eat these two to three hours before exercising.
  • Small snacks. Eat these an hour before exercising. 

Workout #4 1000 Rep Boot Camp Challenge

Equipment needed: Dumbbells, jump rope (optional)

Warm-up: 5 min of 1 min of high knees, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, squat jumps, butt kick

 Complete the following workout one time in your best time possible.  Use modifications and scale when necessary. 

  • 100 jump rope (air rope OR jumping jacks)
  • 50 squats with overhead press
  • 50 push ups
  • 100 jump rope (air rope OR jumping jacks)
  • 50 back rows (per side
  • 50 bicycle crunches (left/right = 1 OR 100 total movements)
  • 100 jump rope (air rope OR jumping jacks)
  • 50 walking lunges per leg
  • 50 sit ups
  • 100 jump rope (air rope OR jumping jacks)
  • 50 burpees
  • 50 giant flutter kicks
  • 100 jump rope (air rope OR jumping jacks)
  • 50 russian twists
  • 50 high plank w/butt kick per leg

Cool down: 5-10 min
