If you’re like myself (and many of our clients), Columbus Day sneaked up on you.  Many times, a three-day weekend mean an extra day to party, check out a new restaurant,  and more TV.  Here’s a workout to help you beat the weekend calorie pile up:

Perform each of the following exercises for the allotted time:

Exercises

  • Push ups
  • Jump squats
  • Sit ups
  • Planks (alternate between hand planks and forearm planks)

60 sec; 45 sec; 30 sec; 30 sec; 45 sec; 60 sec with 15 sec recovery between each set

For example, you will perform the 1st exercise (push ups) in the following sequence:

60 sec Push ups

15 sec Recovery

45 sec Push ups

15 sec Recovery

30 sec Push ups

15 sec Recovery

30 sec Push ups

15 sec Recovery

45 sec Push ups

15 sec Recovery

60 sec Push ups

2 min Rest

Continue the same format for the other three exercises (Jump Squats, Sit ups, Planks)

This is your sure-fire way to defeat the weekend calorie pile up!

JCF Boot Camp…It’s a way of life!

***Please note depending on your fitness level you may have to use longer Recovery and Rest periods***
