What is JCF Boot Camp?

A fitness program for women of all fitness levels; 16 fun, energizing 1 hour sessions that will help you reach your fitness goals.

What is the refund policy?

If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we will give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is non-transferable. There is no cash refund.

Is the JCF Boot Camp only for those who are physically fit?

No. All fitness levels are welcome to join. No one will be asked to complete more than she is capable of doing safely. You will be challenged regardless of your fitness level.

How often do we meet?

Members will meet 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, for 45-60 minutes during the 4-week boot camp. Evening sessions are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

How long is each session?

Each session will last 45 to 60 minutes.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

They include the following: circuit training, core conditioning, functional training, short distance running, muscular strength, jumping rope, resistance training, obstacle courses, boxing (no sparring), and MORE!!

What can I gain from JFC Boot Camp?

Toned, more fit body. You will gain more confidence and sense of gratification when recognizing performance and visual improvements. JCF Boot Camp include workouts that will reduce body fat, increase stamina, and gain strength. By reducing fat, you will lose inches and flatten your stomach. Also, you’ll gain the camaraderie of the group working together and encouraging one another to achieve individual fitness goals.

What if I miss a boot camp session?

Generally, the boot camps are limited in number according to the program. If you miss, you will always be able to attend the next session, but, again, it depends on availability as we do not have ‘make-up’ sessions unless there is a special circumstance.

What if I am running late to class?

Classes begin promptly, so please note the days and times of your classes and make every effort to arrive to camp on time. In order to remain compliant with the fitness industry standards, it’s extremely important for your body to be properly warmed up before we begin our workout and therefore, late comers will NOT be allowed to participate until you get warmed up first. We want you to be safe and healthy!

Can I pay per session?

Drop-in classes are $23. Click here to reserve your spot in class. 

How do I sign up?

Visit the Join Now! page and follow the instructions. Please note that payment must be received to guarantee your spot.

What should I bring?

Members should bring the following:

  • an exercise mat
  • dumbbells
  • resistance tubes (bands)
  • water
  • sneakers
  • weight training gloves (optional)
  • most important – EFFORT!

What if it is raining?

Workouts will take place RAIN or SHINE. In case of a severe thunderstorm or hard down pour, workouts will be moved indoors to our rain location or canceled. All campers should keep an eye out on our website and our Facebook and/or Twitter pages as class updates and cancellations will be posted.

What happens in the winter?

We move our program indoors to Grace Church (39 Erie Street JC, NJ 07302)

Will I be sore?

Most people feel soreness for the first 2-4 days. However, everyone is different. Just remember that soreness is part of the process that allows you to improve and adapt.

How soon will I see results?

Performance (Cardiovascular) improvements can take place in the first week. Visual (physical) improvements can take place in 2-4 weeks depending on your level of effort. Note that each person’s results will vary. However, it is common for a member to go down 1-2 sizes within the first camp.

If you are purchasing items from the Fitness Store AND joining JCF Boot Camp, shipping fees will be waived (refunded) as there can be an arrangement for drop-off or pick-up.

FITNESS STORE FAQs

Where do you ship?

We ship domestically via USPS priority mail. The US post office quotes but does not guarantees 2-3 days for delivery. All domestic items are shipped with a confirmation number so you, the buyer, can track your order.

We do not ship internationally.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept credit cards and e-check payments through Authorize.net.

What if the item is sold out?

As mentioned previously, items are subject to availability. If an item is sold out, you will be notified and refunded the full purchase price, including shipping (if paid).

Can I return an item purchased from the Fitness Store?

All sales are final. However, if an item is grossly misrepresented we will offer a store credit for the full purchase price, including shipping. The item being returned must be postmarked within 48 hours of the original delivery date and shipped via traceable and insured mail.
